RIP Robin Williams: Shine on You Crazy Diamond

It is both a tragedy and a travesty… May he live on through his amazing legacy of Love & Laughter…he will forever be remembered by the millions he touched…

Robin Williams 1951-2014

A man and an actor adored by millions for his fun-loving personality, quirky humor, comedic talent, selfless generosity, and amazing ability to portray the human condition in all its rawness, channeling a wealth of human emotions through both his comedy and his dramatic character portrayals…A man who made life worth living for Christopher Reeve in his darkest hour…A man who performed in dangerous war zones to support and uplift the troops…A man who treated everyone he met as a friend…A man who created ripples of laughter wherever he went…smiling, joking…Sure, he had his demons, but he had seemingly exorcised them years ago and freely shared them with self-deprecating humor during his frenetic comedy routines. He once admitted that he had considered suicide only once, and that he quickly saw the absurdity of his thoughts. He quipped that he told himself ‘you don’t have the balls to do it!” I wish he had echoed that same sentiment to himself on Monday, August 11, 2014…I wish he changed his mind, talked himself out of it, reached out for help…j

#RIPRobinWilliams – A gentle genius and man of heart who brought joy and laughter to many while suffering in silence, alone.

Perhaps the only explanation that gives any insight into why, can be found in the lines he uttered in one of his more dramatic character roles:

“I used to think the worst thing was to end up all alone. It isn’t. The worst thing is to end up with people who make you feel all alone.”

It breaks my heart to think Robin felt so alone in his depression that he chose to take his own life. The world, as well as his family, mourns this tragic loss of an extraordinary man who leaves behind a legacy of laughter, genius, kindness and goodwill. Remember him for the way he lived, not the way he died. But in his honor, spread awareness of the x reality that #DepressionKills !! And nobody is immune to its attack… #DEPRESSION  is an equal opportunity offender, it does not discriminate, defying age, class, race, ethnicity, religion, gender…in short, it can grab hold of anyone! If it remains hidden and/or untreated, often suicide is the ultimate resolution.

If you are depressed, please GET HELP! Call someone! Get online & talk to someone! Do NOT “suck it up” & suffer in silence!

HELP IS AVAILABLE!

*Call 24/7 1-800-273-TALK (8255) (National Suicide Prevention-USA)

I personally offer my friendship and service to each and every one of you. You are not alone…ever! I LOVE YOU!

Love & Light,

The Waterfall

Water flows rhythmically to and from source...Just as our breath flows in and out so effortlessly...a simple exchange of energy, a seemingly infinite process that knows no beginning or end...gentle reciprocity, unhurried and unattached to any outcome or destination... comfortable silences speak volumes... revealing a wealth of natural beauty and serenity borne out of patience and simplicity, and untouched by human greed or motive. Such is the infinite flow of chi connecting all humanity, the animal kingdom, nature and Universe and returning all life that is, was and will be, back to Source.

You Are Not Your Mind

"Emancipate Yourself From Mental Slavery...only We Can Free Our Minds" ~ Bob Marley

We are all spiritual beings inhabiting human bodies, conditioned by our environment, culture, upbringing and experience. We are, indeed, born free, with a "clean slate"...but the minute we are of form in the world, we become a slave to our surroundings, enslaved by the "matrix" we are unwittingly immersed in from the moment of birth, the paradigms imprinted in our minds, conditioned by way of language, cultural mores, family values, blind patriotism, religious beliefs...our whole identity and moral code is shaped by our external environment, while our internal environment is equipped with all the answers we could ever want or need. To deprogram our paradigms, we must listen from within and allow our inner voice to guide us. We must cultivate mindfulness, an unbiased awareness that transcends not only the world around us, but also our absorbent sponge-like minds. Transcendental Awareness essentially removes the sponge, the perceptual filters that organize all the incoming stimuli into manageable compartments, freeing the mind from the constraints of self, leaving only an open receptacle, both full and empty at once, vibrating with cosmic energy. This energy within is in harmony with the Universe's energy, also referred to as Source, Chi or God. When your energy is in alignment with the Universal Flow of Energy, all potentialities exist as viable possibilities, and all polarities merge into one unified point of singularity.

Bullying: Apathy Gone Viral (Bystander Apathy Revisited)

Familiarity breeds Contempt, as well as Apathy. Apathy is a chronic, contagious, life-threatening disease that spreads quickly and quietly, a progressive plague of epic proportions, striking fear in the hearts of those few who are immune to the effects of its deadening poison. Like a wild fire in the wind, airborne pollutants spewing haphazardly, so are the infectious germs of Apathy out of control, a conflagration of random mutations, growing and multiplying. Without quarantine or containment, "Apathy Gone Viral" breeds and enslaves the ideal host from which Bullies germinate, infect and feed. An ongoing cycle of recontamination ensures a grim prognosis, as Bullying continues to flourish, thrive and victimize. Like the Phoenix rising forth from the ashes, so is the Bully empowered by the smoldering embers of Apathy. Victims are a natural by-product of Apathy, as well. Whether Bully or Victim, each is grown from the same seed. Apathy is the seed, that mutates into Bully or Victim. Apathy is the germ, that must be eradicated from the environment, that human beings must be vaccinated against, in order to put an end to this horrific epidemic called BULLYING. We must arrest this plague before it claims more hearts, minds and lives of our young, promising leaders of tomorrow and benefactors of the future.

Let's Start a Revolution

The world needs Change. There is no question about that. The "Whys" are obvious and numerous. We can argue back and forth about the "What" since people's values and priorities may differ based on their quality of life. But the million dollar question that keeps politicians, activists and anyone who truly cares about the state of our planet up at night is "How?" HOW do we affect change? HOW do we implement change of any real substance or staying power (longevity.) To quote The Beatles: "You say you want a Revolution? Well you know, we all want to change the world."
A Revolution does not have to be marked by chaos, violence and power. Silence can be Revolutionary. Love can be Revolutionary. Spirituality can be Revolutionary. We must find peaceful, non-violent means to revolutionize and change things in this world, to change the status quo so as to improve life conditions for anyone living a sub-standard life (i.e. homeless, poverty, no medical care, unemployment, no clean water, hunger etc.) as well as ensure the humane treatment of all God's creatures, man or animal. Remember, the Change Begins With Me and You. An internal revolution of thought and spirit must take place within each one of us before we can make any significant changes affecting the outside world. Each of us operates at a state of consciousness, awakened by our stage of spiritual evolution at the time. Although many of humanity live their life unconsciously most of the time, we, as members of the human race, as human beings, are surely evolving as both enlightened individuals and as a collective consciousness on Earth. Our inner transformation is reflected in the world we live in, through our thoughts, ideas, words, and actions that represent our unity of purpose on a spiritual as well as a global level. The Revolution has begun...get with the program and be a part of One Love - One World. WE are surely the Ones We Have Been Waiting For...

Aldous Huxley Sheds Some Light On Our Attraction to Mind-Altering Substances

FUTURE OPIOIDS

OPIOIDS: the birth of a new generation
"If we could sniff or swallow something that would, for five or six hours each day, abolish our solitude as individuals, atone us with our fellows in a glowing exaltation of affection and make life in all its aspects seem not only worth living, but divinely beautiful and significant, and if this heavenly, world-transfiguring drug were of such a kind that we could wake up next morning with a clear head and an undamaged constitution - then, it seems to me, all our problems (and not merely the one small problem of discovering a novel pleasure) would be wholly solved and earth would become paradise."

I Create, Therefore I Am...

Happiness is a by-product of Creativity, or Creative Process. All Creation is Beauty (whether creator or created, the source or the muse). Happiness can not exist without the creative process, any more than life can exist without the creative process of Breathing. Many creative people such as artists, writers, painters, poets, dancers seem to live in misery. However, in reality, the human condition by default is one of misery and suffering. Through creativity one may transcend humanness, the human aspects of self, mainly the ego, and become self-less. Only through Creativity and Meditation can one who is alive return to the source, merging with the universe and all creation on a vibrational level. At that level there is no misery, no judgments, no attachments...at that level there is only Harmony, or Oneness. I am You, I am God, I am Universe, I am the vibration of highest frequency, I am LOVE.
